I havent blogged for a long time. The last blog I used was the LiveSpaces site. Those are all gone now and well Here is a place to blog for me again. I am a big fan of writing stuff.. I enjoy it a lot.

Video Detail - CSI: NY on CBS - BOO
Video Detail - CSI: NY on CBS
Halloween Episode entitled: BOO
I watch all the CSI shows ... Mostly because they entertain about catching the bad guys.
When I watched CSI: NY's episode entitled "BOO" with Bruce Dern as one of the character actors ... The opening scene had me laughing so hard I almost cried. (FYI - for me the rest of the show was downhill from there - That opening scene was the HIGHLIGHT of it all.
Whoever thought of that scene was brilliant..
You see two men, one of which is Bruce, in a graveyard filling in or digging a grave. Bruce is sitting on a headstone telling the other guy (younger) what "Save by the Bell" really means .. in the OLD DAYS morticians would tie a string to the dead persons finger and the other end would be tied to a bell above ground. They would assign people to sit by the grave who would sit there all night (hence graveyard shift) ... if the bell rang they had buried someone that wasn't dead. The kid says "You're freaking me out Man!" and you see that the kid is a bit nervous - and then you hear the tinkle of a bell .. The kid becomes quite upset, by the look on his face he is literally SCARED (great acting by the way.)
Next you see Bruce who bursts out laughing as he brings a Bell above his legs .. the kid says to him "I'm going to Kill you!" yet you can see relief on his face that it was just a prank.
Quite suddenly, a hand reaches up out of the grave nearest Bruce Dern .. grabbing his leg .. the kid goes WIDE EYED and Bruce Dern looks as if he is ready to A. Have a Heart Attack right there B. Pee his Pants, C. Do the OTHER business in his pants ... and or D. All of the above. The kid RUNS off .. scared out of his wits .... the look of horror on his face matches that of Bruce Dern's.
The whole thing was brilliant .. Having Dern talk about how in the old days the sometimes ended up burying people alive and ............. then ......... there had been someone buried alive!
It was hilarious ... but also jolting to watch.
It gets dry after that scene .. it could be just because the rest was so procedural and no other comic relief.
